Meagan and Chris are getting married!

Okay, so I took a little break from photography because I started a PhD program.  But today, I remembered how incredible it is to photograph awesome and beautiful people in love.  Thanks you two for reminding me how much I love taking photographs.  And congrats!  :)

Aliyah's Bat Mitzvah!

I met with Aliyah and her family at the synagogue for some posed formal portraits.  The temple is beautiful, with honey colored woods and really cool angles.  Aliyah and her sister read Torah for us and it was an honor to be part of such an ancient and sacred tradition.  The bat mitzvah is a closed ceremony so I won't see her again until the big party Saturday night!  Happy birthday and congratulations Aliyah!  You're going to be AMAZING!

Danielle's graduation!

Danielle, Mike, and the fantastic trio of triplets met me on campus for some well-earned graduation photos.  Not only did Danielle complete her MSW this summer, but she completed the degree while working full-time and having TRIPLETS!  Amazing.  She's the hardest-working student, mother, wife, employee, friend, and woman I know!  Congratulations!

Erin is a Master Music Therapist!

Erin and I took some traditional graduation photos on campus, then headed to a local park with her guitar!  The photos came out beautifully!!  Thanks Erin and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

 

Shayla's graduation!

Shayla completed a Masters degree in Social Work this weekend!  She teaches math and science at a local school and is excited to start her new career!

Yoga with Nancy!

Nancy and I felt the burn of the 99 degree post-rainstorm morning sun as she rolled through dozens of beautiful yoga poses.  It was a beautiful morning and you can almost see the moisture glistening in the air.  Gorgeous!

 

Brothers and furbabies!

I had an awesome time with Eric, Chris, Bronte, and the kittens!  Chris rescued Bronte from the shelter a few weeks ago and the two have become fast friends.  His brother Eric became proud papa to those cute Siamese mix kittens after their first owner was overwhelmed by their energy.  Gotta tell you - I think these critters wound up in EXACTLY the right home!  I'm getting more skilled at photographing dogs, but squirmy energetic kittens are HILARIOUS!  We spent more time laughing than anything, I think!  Thanks boys!!
